The City of Youngstown and JAC Management Group announce the hiring of a new Community Engagement and Inclusion Coordinator (CEIC) for The Wean Park Complex. The Wean Park complex is a 22-acre riverfront entertainment complex encompassing the Wean Park’s great lawn, the Covelli Centre, Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre and Huntington Bank Community Alley.
The role of the Community Engagement & Inclusion Coordinator is to advance resident-centered engagement by supporting individuals, organizations, businesses, and community groups in planning and hosting activities within the Park. The Coordinator develops partnerships, expands opportunities for community use, and supplements those efforts through strategically designed programs and events that increase utilization, strengthen community connections, and promote equitable access and participation.
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated candidate seeking to listen and learn from stakeholders to discover fresh ideas. The successful candidate will have above average interpersonal skills to effectively serve a diverse constituency.
